TDF Services For Theatre

TDF Subsidy Program
Help when it counts most
The TDF Subsidy Program awards a subsidy of up to $9 per ticket to Broadway productions of particular merit that, due to their content, may be slow to build an audience. TDF offers similar programs for Off Broadway shows with Equity contracts and for New York City dance performances.

TDF has 90,000+ members who purchase hundreds of thousands of discounted tickets online and by mail every year. TDF Members are theatre lovers who show up early and often, and can be a crucial source of word-of-mouth. Tickets to any New York production—from the smallest showcase to the grandest Broadway show—can be offered through this service at any time during the run.

TKTS Discount Booths
Same-day sales, uptown and down
Many producers utilize the TKTS Discount Booths as a direct marketing tool for surplus seats. In return for offering same-day discounts of between 20% and 50% off full-price tickets, they have access to a large and enthusiastic audience.

TDF Costume Collection
Over 75,000 costumes!
A remarkably rich resource, the TDF Costume Collection offers high-quality costumes and accessories for rent. The stock is donated by Broadway shows, major opera houses and other professional sources. Not-for-profit and commercial customers are eligible to take advantage of the expert design offered through the pulling and mail order department. The TDF Costume Collection resource center is available by appointment.

Accessibility Grants
Increasing attendance by people with hearing loss
The TAP Plus Program, which is administered by TDF, provides grants of up to $5,000 to eligible organizations in New York State. The purpose of these grants is to make productions more accessible to audience members with hearing loss. The TAP Plus Program is a partnership between TDF and the New York State Council on the Arts.
