TDF carefully selects 20 organizations each year to participate in the program. We are looking for not-for-profit organizations that can assemble a group of 20-50 people with an interest in expanding their experience of the arts in New York City. Participants will have the opportunity to attend two Broadway / Off Broadway productions between September - December (Fall Cycle) or February - June (Spring Cycle).
TDF will offer a financial subsidy that covers the majority of the ticket costs for each performance. Each group will be asked to make a small financial commitment of between $25 - $45 per ticket.
Each performance will be preceded and followed by facilitated discussions or interactive workshops that engage the group in the themes of the performance they are seeing. A TDF trained Teaching Artist will be working with you in each of your pre- and post- performance discussions.
At the conclusion of the program, each participant will receive a complementary TDF membership and a group membership for the organization as a whole. New Audiences is an opportunity for your organization to see the best theatre in New York City and to build a relationship with TDF.
Applications are currently being accepted on a rolling basis through January 10th, 2013. Selected organizations will be notified shortly thereafter. Interested groups should apply by completing the online form at www.tdf.org/groups.
