2013 Gala
Our 2013 Gala celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the TKTS Discount Booth and honored Philip J. Smith, Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Shubert Organization, for his longtime support of TDF and his vital leadership in New York City's theatre community.

Held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Edison Ballroom just a few steps away from the TKTS Discount Booth in Duffy Square, the Gala was hosted by Douglas Carter Beane and featured performances by Bernadette Peters (accompanied by Marvin Laird), Zoe Caldwell and the cast of Forbidden Broadway: Alive and Kicking! performing a new piece written by Gerald Alessandrini for TKTS' 40th Anniversary.
