Robert Battle's first season as Artistic Director of Ailey's company. 

The 2011 NY City Center Season highlights include a world premiere by Rennie Harris, 3 company premieres by Paul Taylor, Ohad Naharin and Robert Battle, two new productions by Joyce Trisler and Alvin Ailey.  And, on Dec. 11 there is a Farewell to Sylvia Waters, and there is a special program of the Best of 2011 on Jan. 1.  Most performances conclude with Mr. Ailey's masterpiece, Revelations.  For company repertory please visit  www.alvinailey.org.
