Why do we require Proof of Eligibility?
To ensure that only qualified individuals have access to our deeply discounted tickets members must recertify every 4 years in order to ensure continued eligibility.

How can you submit it? IT IS EASY!

Snap a photo and email it!
The simplest solution is to snap a photo of your Proof of Eligibility using a smart phone. Then, using the smart phone's email program, send the photo to us at POE@tdf.org. Please include your full name and Member ID# so that we can note your Proof of Eligibility in your account.

Even if you do not have a smart phone you can still scan your documentation and then email it to us at POE@tdf.org.

If you don't have a smart phone or a scanner simply mail a copy to us!
Proof of eligibility may be mailed to TDF at the address below.

What type of proof is required?
Depending on your eligibility category, you may submit one of the following forms of proof:

Full-time Students (high school or above)

You must verify that you are currently enrolled, full-time, in a high school, college or drama/music/dance program. Please send a copy of a current student ID with current semester validation. If your school does not validate your student ID with the date, you may submit a copy of your current transcript. Please edit out or obscure any sensitive information.

Full-time Teachers (primary or junior high school faculty, high school faculty, university or college faculty, teacher of drama/dance/music)

You must verify that you are currently employed full-time as a teacher for a primary, junior high or high school OR a university/college OR a full-time teacher of drama/music/dance. Please send a copy of a current/dated employment ID or a signed and dated letter from HR department on official letterhead.

Recent Graduates (26 years of age and under)

You must verify that you are 26 years of age and under. Please send a copy of a valid driver’s license or similar document. Edit out or obscure any sensitive information.

Full-time Union Members

Please send a copy of a current and dated union ID card or a signed and dated letter from Union administrator on official letterhead.

Retirees (no longer working and at least 62 years of age or older)

You must verify that you are 62 or over AND no longer working. Please submit a copy of your driver's license along with official pension or retirement letter from former employer or retirement/pension fund provider. If you do not have a pension or retirement letter we will accept a copy of a pension, retirement benefits or Social Security benefits pay stub OR a copy of your Medicare card. Please edit out or obscure any sensitive information.

Full-time Civil Service Employees

Please send a copy of a current and dated employment ID or a signed and dated letter from HR department on official letterhead.

Full-time Staff Members of Not-for-Profit Organizations

Please send a copy of a current and dated ID or a signed and dated letter from HR department on official letterhead.

Full-time Non-Exempt Employees

This category is for full-time hourly workers (40 hours a week) who are eligible for overtime pay. To verify your employment status in this category, please send a signed and dated letter from HR department on official letterhead verifying status as worker.

Full-time Performing Arts Professionals

Please send a copy of current and dated appropriate documentation (i.e. dated union card, current playbill, etc.). You may also provide us with a link to your professional website.

Members of the Armed Forces

Please send documentation of your current (or veteran) status in the U.S. Armed Forces. Please edit out or obscure any sensitive information.

Full-time Clergy

Please send a copy of a current and dated organization ID verifying your full-time employment at your institution. In lieu of an ID you may submit a signed and dated letter from your religious insitution verifying your employment.
