TKTS Apprenticeship Application

Are you looking for a career on Broadway, but you aren’t a performer? Have you thought about being a Box Office Treasurer? TDF is proud to announce its TKTS Apprenticeship Program. The program is designed to provide individuals who are traditionally under-represented in the Broadway workforce access to comprehensive box office training and full time employment opportunities in one of the world’s most well-known ticket selling operations. During your 6 month apprenticeship you will learn all of the ticketing systems used in theatre box offices and sporting arenas around NYC while working in our fast-paced Times Square Booth at the heart of Broadway. You will work side by side with professionals as they serve NYC residents and tourists from around the world.

The apprenticeship is full time and salaried, and provides 1/3 of the required hours towards full union membership in the Treasurers and Ticket Sellers Union Local 751. Apprentices will be mentored by TKTS Supervisors. At the end of the apprenticeship, each participant will receive employment interviews with the three major Broadway theatre owners as well as other Broadway theatres.
