Offering Tickets to TDF Members

Reach an audience of committed theatregoers. TDF has 90,000+ members who purchase hundreds of thousands of discounted tickets every year. TDF members are theatre lovers who take chances on new productions and can be a crucial source of word-of-mouth buzz. Tickets to most New York theatre, dance and music productions can be offered through this service at any time during the run of the show.

Offering Tickets at the TKTS Discount Booths

Many Broadway and Off-Broadway producers utilize our TKTS Discount Booths to offer surplus seats to a large and enthusiastic audience with discounts between 20% and 50% off full-price tickets. These discounts are made available for same-day evening performances and, in some cases, next-day matinees. TDF has two TKTS Discount Booth locations: Times Square and Lincoln Center.

Offering Tickets to TAP Members

There are almost 1 million people with disabilities living in New York City and TDF can help you serve them. Our TDF Accessibility Programs (TAP) has more than 25,000 subscribers and our Autism Friendly Performances caters to 10,000 families. Let's work together to make theatre more accessible.

Offering Tickets to Off-Off Broadway Productions

We realize that sometimes filling a theatrical venue can be challenging, especially when you’re producing new and exciting work Off-Off Broadway. TDF can help producers and presenters gain revenue while attracting new audiences by offering discounted tickets to TDF’s 90,000+ members and our growing list of 16,000 Off-Off Broadway enthusiasts. The latter program was specifically designed to encourage attendance at both AEA and non-AEA showcases as well as smaller dance venues.

TDF Subsidy Program

Help when it counts most! The TDF Subsidy Program awards a subsidy of up to $10 per ticket to new Broadway productions of artistic merit that may be slow to attract an audience during the first eight weeks of the run. TDF offers a similar subsidy for select dance performances.

Show Promotion 

TDF Show Finder

The TDF website receives more than 500,000 unique visitors every week. Our Show Finder enables visitors to sort performance listings by genre, venue and whether we're selling discounted tickets. Make sure your show is where enthusiastic theatregoers can find it! We want to present your show to the public in the best possible light. To make your listing complete and inviting, please email us:

2. Artwork (460x340 preferred)
3. Show description
4. Venue
5. Performance schedule including opening date, if applicable
6. Running time/intermission info 
7. Age guidance
8. Website and ticket link
9. Rush info, if offered
10. Any special content warnings audiences should be aware of (strobe lights, smoke, violence, obscenity, etc.)

TDF’s online theatre magazine has an email list of more than 130,000 and takes readers inside the best theatre and dance productions in New York, sharing weekly roundups of shows to see and artist interviews. Services for Theatres

TDF Costume Collection

A remarkably rich resource with more than 80,000 costumes, the TDF Costume Collection offers high-quality costumes and accessories for rent at affordable prices. The stock is donated by Broadway shows, major opera houses and other professional sources. Nonprofit and commercial customers are eligible to take advantage of the expert design offered through the pulling and mail-order department. The TDF Costume Collection resource center is available by appointment only.

TAP Accessibility Grants

The TAP Plus Program provides grants of up to $5,000 to eligible organizations in New York State that want to make productions more accessible to audience members with hearing loss. The TAP Plus Program is a partnership between TDF and the New York State Council on the Arts.
