When 18-year-old aspiring writer Mario falls in love with his aunt-in-law, he dives headfirst into a world of wild passion and forbidden love that will scandalize and entertain the “novela” and radio soap operas obsessed world of 1950s Lima, Peru.

Based on the autobiographical tale of Nobel Prize winning writer, Mario Vargas Llosa.

Adapted for the stage by OBIE award winning playwright Caridad Svich. Directed by José Zayas
