The Duke of Lycia plays a dangerous game when he outlaws the worship of the god of love. Cupid doesn't take kindly to the desecration of his temples, and by the time he's done taking revenge, the entire kingdom may not survive.

Written by Francis Beaumont and John Fletcher
, and first printed in 1615, Cupid's Revenge is a tale of love, revenge, and mortal folly that was highly influential to post-Shakespearean playwrights. Filled with music, dance, romance, sword fights, and gruesome deaths, Cupid's Revenge re-invents earlier Elizabethan tragedy for a new era.

Cupid's Revenge will be staged using Bad Quarto Productions' signature style of combining universal lighting, audience interaction, cross-gendered casting, limited rehearsals, and other staging conditions of the original Shakespearean playing companies.
