There’s no glass slipper in this dark, sensual, and compulsively watchable 1999 ballet that strips the Cinderella fairy tale of its sugar.

Set to the music of Prokofiev, Cinderella explores the untold story of Cinderella’s mother, who returns from the dead in the form of a fairy godmother.
Choreographed by Jean-Christophe Maillot, the trailblazing choreographer-director of Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, Cinderella is an unmissable chance to see the company’s 50 dancers back in New York and at the top of their game.
