Mostly Mozart Festival, the annual celebration of Mozart, his creative legacy, and the magic of a music-filled summer in the city.

This year opens with The Singing Heart, a special musical evening that illuminates a hopeful future through the spirit of youth. The Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, led by Louis Langrée, and pianist Kit Armstrong are joined by the renowned Young People’s Chorus of New York City, which performs traditional and folk songs from Mozart’s time in a program culminating in Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy.

The genius of Schubert provides a special focus for the festival this summer, with guest conductor Edward Gardner imparting his vision of the composer’s works. Maestro Andrew Manze also joins the Festival Orchestra for a full week. Also virtuosic soloists, including Joshua Bell, Steven Isserlis, Thomas Zehetmair, Jeremy Denk, and Gil Shaham, light up the stages.
