How many TKTS cameos do you recognize?

Our Times Square TKTS by TDF Booth is always ready for a close-up

---

Who's worked with Tom Cruise, Chris Evans, Andrew Garfield, Scarlett Johansson, and Will Smith? TKTS in Times Square! OK, so maybe we were merely a background player, but you couldn't miss us. Since 1973, TKTS has been an iconic part of Times Square -- we've seen 45 ball drops; hordes of hustlers, hookers, and Elmos; the rise of Andrew Lloyd Webber; the fall of the Toys R Us T. rex; and countless Hamilfans take their lottery shot.

Whenever a movie or TV show shoots in Times Square, TKTS helps complete the scene. And though we admit we've had some work done over the years, we're still getting gigs. How many TKTS cameos do you recognize?

Jamie Foxx's Electro and Andrew Garfield's Spider-man go at it on our red steps in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Hey, it's better than that other time Spidey got caught brawling in Times Square.

Tom Cruise must have gotten up really early to beat the TKTS line in Vanilla Sky.

That's us behind Chris Evans in Captain America: The First Avenger until that damn tour bus steals our glory. We want a do-over now that he's on Broadway in Lobby Hero.

Drama queens meet an evil queen: We were totally Enchanted by Susan Sarandon's fierce outfit.

Our red steps made the Glee gals look good.

We went on a date with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis in Friends with Benefits.

Don't blink! That's us all blurry over Scarlett Johansson's shoulder in Lucy. She spent a lot more time with us while starring in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof on Broadway back in 2013.

'

Then there was that time we hosted an fsociety rally on Mr. Robot.

'

Or when Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner tried handing out flyers by us for their edgy downtown musical on Difficult People. Let's just say it didn't cut into our business.

And finally, here we are, hanging with Will Smith after the apocalypse in I Am Legend. Sure, we look a bit worse for wear, but apparently even the end of the world can't stop us. The TKTS show must go on.

Have you spotted the TKTS by TDF Booth in other movies or TV shows? Share your sightings in the comments!

This was so cute. The captions are hilarious, especially "damn tour bus steals our glory." I'm a TDF member and live on 42nd Street, so this is my 'hood. Great share.

Hi Diane, We actually considered Birdman but because of the direction Keaton walks in, the TKTS Booth isn't visible. Too bad. We would have loved to use that clip!
