WATCH: TDF's 'Titanique' Conversation

Date: May 27, 2021

Cowriters and costars Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli chat about their 'Titanic' parody

---

Like many hilarious satires, it started out as a goof. What would a send-up of James Cameron's 1997 Oscar-winning epic Titanic look like as a stage musical as seen through the eyes, songs and vibrato of Céline Dion? But soon longtime friends and Broadway vets Constantine Rousouli (Hairspray, Wicked) and Marla Mindelle (South Pacific, Sister Act) realized they were onto something special—that's how Titanique set sail. Before the show's one-night-only live concert on May 2, TDF hosted a hilarious chat with these cowriters and costars. If you weren't able to tune in live on our Facebook page, you can watch a recording of their comical conversation below.
