Three of New York's most revered dance companies perform works both classic and new.  Ailey II, ABT II, and TAYLOR 2.

AILEY II

Renowned for combining vibrant spirit and elegant style, the company, under the artistic direction of Sylvia Waters, presents diverse repertory, including Christopher Huggins' Essence, Thang Dao's Echoes, and Carlos dos Santos' Proximity.  Dance Chat:  Wed, April 14.

ABT II
April 15 & 23 at 8:00pm; April 24 at 2:00pm; April 25 at 7:30pm
The future stars of ABT take the stage in a program that includes Jerome Robbins' American masterpiece Interplay, classical pas de deux, and world premieres by Roger VanFleteren and Edwaard Liang.  Dance Chat: Tue, April 20.

TAYLOR 2
April 16 & 24 at 8:00pm; April 18 & 20 at 7:30pm; April 25 at 2:00pm
The company presents four masterworks from its remarkable repertoire.  Aureole, one of the first modern dances to use music composed more than two centuries earlier, 3 Epitaphs, set to early New Orleans jazz, Company B, using Andrews Sisters' hits, and Esplanade, set to Bach Violin Concertos.  Dance Chat: Tues, April 20.
