On January 15th, at a special event presented by the producers of Spring Awakening and The Broadway League, TDF executive director Victoria Bailey moderated a panel discussion about how to make Broadway more accessible.

The event featured opening remarks were given by producer Ken Davenport, and a keynote address by Timothy Shriver, chairman of the Special Olympics. The panelists included: Victor Calise, commissioner of the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities; Lisa Goring, executive vice president of Autism Speaks; David J. Kurs, artistic director of Deaf West Theatre; and Annie Leist, special projects lead of Art Beyond Sight.
