This is a special performance for individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as people with other developmental or cognitive disabilities who may benefit, not for the general public.  Please read the venue and content information below to determine if this show is a match for you.

Ticket Prices

All Tickets: $70-$80 including a $5 service fee

Wheelchair accessible and companion seats are available via the Accessibility Services Department at 888-609-7599. Tickets must be purchased on Ticketmaster.com through a dedicated TDF Autism Friendly Performances link.

You do not need to be a TDF Member to purchase tickets.

About the show

Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes® is a holiday performance in New York City featuring the Rockettes, a precision dance company known for their synchronized kicks and exact movements. The show includes ten musical and dance numbers. The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes® is now even more Spectacular™ with the addition of a brand-new Rockettes number and immersive new technology that will expand how audiences experience America’s most beloved holiday show.

Age recommendation:
The show is appropriate for families with children of all ages. Children under age 2 do not need tickets if they sit on an adult’s lap and do not occupy their own seats.

Running time:
1 hour and 30 minutes with no intermission

Accessibility:

  • Entrances: 
    • The accessible entrance is located under the marquee on the corner of 50th Street and Sixth Avenue. 
  • Seating: 
    • The orchestra is accessible without steps.
    • The first mezzanine is up one flight of stairs and seats require steps to access. 
    • All floors are accessible via elevator.
    • Wheelchair accessible seating is available.
  • Assistive listening and closed captioning: 
    • Assistive listening devices and prerecorded audio description are available. Please see a Guest Services Representative.
  • Additional support:
    • Accessible restrooms are available downstairs in the Grand Lounge.
    • In addition to the typical supports offered at Autism Friendly Performances, guests may visit the Chris and Veronica Jackson Sensory Room located in the Grand Lounge. Please visit the Guest Services Desk located in the Grand Foyer as a Guest Services Representative is required to access the space.

Content and Venue Advisory:

  • The show features confetti, pyrotechnics, smoke effects, flashing lights and drones that are used to represent fairies.
  • There are live animals in the show including camels and various farm animals.

What makes the performance autism-friendly?

To create an autism-friendly event, the show is performed in a welcoming, supportive environment for individuals on the autism spectrum, with sensory sensitivities, communication challenges and/or learning disabilities. Slight adjustments to lighting and sound are made for the performance. In the downstairs theatre lobby, there will be a break area staffed by autism specialists in case any theatregoers need to leave their seats during the show. Downloadable resources, including a Visual Narrative with pictures of the theatre and the production, will be available on this page soon.

We can make no assurances that this performance will be suitable for everyone with autism. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for their family’s viewing and engagement with the performance.
