Francis Jue and Geena Quintos on starring in Yilong Liu's powerful new play

When Obie winner Francis Jue and Geena Quintos discovered they would be playing father and daughter in Yilong Liu's moving world premiere Good Enemy at Audible Theater's Minetta Lane Theatre, they squealed with delight as if they really were family. The two became close while performing together in the musical Soft Power on the West Coast and at New York's Public Theater, and they're thrilled to be reunited in this time- and continent-hopping new play about Howard, a fiftysomething Chinese immigrant dad forced to face his traumatic past so he can forge a closer bond with Momo, his college-age daughter. Join TDF this Friday, October 28 at 11 a.m. ET on our Facebook page or our YouTube channel as these amazing actors talk about generational differences, their complicated relationship with social media and the importance of sharing Asian stories with audiences of all backgrounds. Captions will be available.
