Even though in-person theatre and dance are back in full swing, in the name of accessibility we're continuing to round up performances to watch online from the comfort of home. Our curated list spotlights the five best options to stream this weekend, Friday, April 26 to Sunday, April 28, for free or at low cost.

Live from 54 Below: Abby Mueller in Concert

Live-streaming Saturday, April 27 at 7 p.m. ET for $28.50

Broadway's original Jane Seymour in SIX, Abby Mueller, makes her solo 54 Below debut. Enjoy an eclectic concert of songs from her stage career as well as pop hits by divas such as Adele and Carole King, a role she played on Broadway in Beautiful after her sister Jessie left the show. Special guests include her former costars Paris Nix from Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and Nasia Thomas from SIX. If you prefer to attend in person, click here for info.

Live From 54 Below: Sondheim Unplugged

Live-streaming on Sunday, April 28 at 7 p.m. ET for $28.50.

Enjoy the latest installment of Sondheim Unplugged, a stripped-down concert series celebrating the late songwriting legend. Talented vocalists croon Sondheim tunes accompanied solely by piano alongside special guests Ramona Mallory from the 2009 A Little Night Music revival, Leenya Rideout from the 2006 Company revival and Lucia Spina from the recent Into the Woods. Live-streaming from 54 Below's swanky stage. If you prefer to attend in person, click here for info.

The Wilma Theater: The Good Person of Setzuan

Streaming until Tuesday, May 21 for $29
Philadelphia's acclaimed Wilma Theater just wrapped its in-person production of The Good Person of Setzuan but you can watch a recording online. Tony Kushner's celebrated adaptation of Bertolt Brecht's parable centers on three Gods who descend upon the city of Setzuan looking for one good person. When Shen Te, an impoverished young woman, offers them shelter, they reward her beyond her wildest dreams. But her newfound fortune tests her generous nature. Director Justin Jain reinvents this insightful epic with live music and the talented members of the Wilma HotHouse Acting Company.

National Theatre at Home: Ķīn

Streaming for $10

In 2020, London's lauded National Theatre launched its own streaming service featuring professional stage captures of its productions. While you can buy a subscription, shows are also available to rent individually. New to the roster is Ķīn, an acclaimed piece of devised physical theatre about a family that emigrates from Yemen to Palestine in 1932, and how that decision impacts future generations. A 72-hour rental costs $10 and captions are available. It's just one of many fantastic National Theatre shows you can stream, so be sure to browse the entire list.

Ruthless! The Musical

Streaming for $10

Joel Paley and Marvin Laird's campy cult classic helped launch the careers of Britney Spears and Natalie Portman, and enjoyed a hit 2015 Off-Broadway revival. The hilarious tale of a talented 8 year old who will do anything, literally, to land the lead in her school musical, the show sends up classics including Gypsy, Mame and The Bad Seed. This production was filmed live on stage on the West End in 2019.
