The Sound of Music (1959) the iconic musical by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse.
It is based on the memoir of Maria von Trapp, The Story of the Trapp Family Singers is the tale of the von Trapp Family and their governess Maria and how love triumphs in the turbulent times of World war II.

The BCP Youth Company proudly presents Rodgers + Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music (Getting to Know You) the one hour version of this classic musical, uniquely adapted for young performers
