Can the love of two women survive the black-white divide?

In 1939 London, two American women, Jimmie Leroy and Claire hicks, have lived, loved, and performed together for three years. Jimmie has a lifetime of experience as a male impersonator. Claire, a talented pianist, is with a woman for the first time, and a white woman, at that. The gathering storm of war and a letter from home plummet them into the harsh reality of returning to a segregated US as they pack to leave, the specters of exile, external hatred, and internalized homophobia make the very dream of their love seem impossible.

Recorded piano solos and original composition by Cynthia Hilts
