For a decade now, the OBIE Award-winning 600 HIGHWAYMEN, led by theater artists Abigail Browde and Michael Silverstone, has been “one of New York’s best nontraditional companies” (The New Yorker).

Manmade Earth, the latest work in development by 600 HIGHWAYMEN, invites us to come together around the building of an ambitious, new world. Created with 8 teenagers (all residents of the city of Buffalo, NY and all hailing from different cities around the globe) Manmade Earth examines the evolution of our society; how we come together to create what we could not on our own. Buildings get built, destroyed, built again. How do the structures that we make push us together or keep us apart?

A performance about permanence, stability, bravery, and endurance – all in the hands of young people, in all their glory.

Part of FIAF Crossing the  Line Festival 2019
