A SASSY NEW LATINO MUSICAL! BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

The actors and musicians of Pregones/PRTT Ensemble bring you a sizzling tribute to poet, storyteller and playwright Magdalena Gómez, delivering the full range of Gomez's rhythmic realism, boundless hope, and laugh out loud humor. Her characters face real life challenges with courage and flair, and are openly inspired by friends, family, and Latino icons as varied as Lolita Lebrón, Joe Cuba, and Iris Chacón.

From the breathtaking Fuego en la cocina, the no-nonsense Why I Lost The Popularity Contest to the hilarious and daring Soap and Water, to the rousing Madre de Bomba, each story vibrates with glorious passion and soul.
