The glitz of Sin City meets the razzle-dazzle of Broadway in HONEYMOON IN VEGAS, the new musical that Ben Brantley of The New York Times calls “A classic, with a revelation of a score,” cheering “You know you're listening to the sound of success.”

HONEYMOON IN VEGAS tells the story of Jack Singer, a regular guy with an extraordinary fear of marriage, who finally gets up the nerve to ask his girlfriend Betsy to marry him. But when they head to Las Vegas to get hitched, smooth talking gambler Tommy Korman, looking for a second chance at love, falls head over heels for Betsy. What happens next is anybody’s bet!

Stage and screen star Tony Danza (“Who’s the Boss?,” “Taxi”), Tony nominee Rob McClure (Chaplin), and Brynn O’Malley (Annie) star in this uproarious Broadway premiere with a book by Andrew Bergman (screenwriter of the hit film Honeymoon in Vegas), music by Tony winner Jason Robert Brown (The Bridges of Madison County, Parade), direction by Gary Griffin (The Color Purple), and choreography by Denis Jones (Legally Blonde).

Bet the house on this insanely funny new musical full of skydiving Elvises, sexy chorus girls, red-hot romance… and really cold feet.

Reviews

  • "But it’s Danza — still boyishly handsome at 62 — who has the audience eating out of the palm of his hand. His timing is razor-sharp, his crooning pleasant, and his soft-shoe dancing smooth as he makes you root for Tommy despite his thoroughly despicable behavior."

     -----New York Post
  • "The delightfully unexpected HONEYMOON IN VEGAS has wrestled the neon mirage of its title into the solid, satisfying shape of a classic Broadway musical."

    -----The New York Times
  • In terms of sheer bubbly fun, Honeymoon ranks up there with some of my favorite new musical comedies on the job The Full Monty , Hairspray or In the Heights, and recent ones The Book of Mormon and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. Broadway may be a crapshoot, but Honeymoon hits the jackpot.
