This year, the Queens Symphonic Band is celebrating its 43rd year and 164th concert at QCC - under the musical direction of Dr. Bernard Rose

Among other pieces......the QSB will be performing, direct from Broadway, George Gershwin's "An American In Paris" and a special performance of Rimsky-Korsakoff's "Procession of the Nobles" conducted by Philip Schwartz.

Classical, Pop, Jazz & Broadway selections will be performed by several Performing Groups

Recently, the Band has received a "Citation of Honor from the Borough President of Queens for it's "outstanding contribution to the Arts for  the 40 years of providing the residents of New York City musical performances that have enhanced their cultural lives".
