55 Lexington Ave / 1 Bernard Baruch Way, New York, NY 10010
Vijay Iyer remains the most commanding jazz pianist and composer to emerge in years, of whom The New York Times: "There’s probably no frame wide enough to encompass his creative output.”  Harvard professor and 2013 MacArthur Fellow, he has served as Performance Artist in Residence at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He has the knack of making prickly experimentalism feel approachable, intuitive, and even stylish.

“Extravagantly gifted … brilliantly eclectic”  The New Yorker, pianist Vijay Iyer  joins forces with an equally heralded musician and composer whom he calls his “hero, friend and teacher,” Wadada Leo Smith (trumpet) “A magisterial instrumental voice…– Downbeat.
