Our mission at the Queensboro Dance Festival is to bring together our local dance community and feature the creativity cultivated in Queens.

Based in Long Island City, The Physical Plant
is a dance group comprised of varying collaborators where we develop the changing nuances of the mind-body connection.   We focus a technical eye on our instinctive movements, and study how intention drives us.  TPP was created in 2010 by Artistic Director Karesia Batan, and has performed at Triskelion Arts, Dixon Place, GIbney Dance, Northside Townhall, WAH Center, and Theaterlab, as well as MA and CT.
In addition to the Queensboro Dance Festival, TPP is dedicated to provide innovative productions in dance on film, site performance, and movement as a news medium.
