Broadway Playhouse introduces children to the masterpieces of American musical theater. Now in its 15th season, the series has delighted both children and adults with playful presentations of musicals by Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Alan Menken and many others.

Join Sean Hartley and the beloved Broadway Playhouse cast of zanies as they sing, clown, play games and introduce children to the great writers of American musical theater. At each concert, children are chosen from the audience to participate in the fun. Ages 4-11.

  Charles Strouse
You can bet your bottom dollar that this celebration of Annie composer Charles Strouse will inspire you to “put on a happy face.” A three-time Tony winner, Strouse wrote more than 30 musicals as well as chart-topping pop tunes and scores for Hollywood films

Channel your inner flapper and sing along with adventurous ogres at this celebration of composer Jeanine Tesori! You'll hear songs from her hit musicals Shrek The MusicalThoroughly Modern Millie and Best Musical Tony winner Fun Home.

Stephen Schwartz
Celebrate composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz – the only songwriter in Broadway history ever to have three shows run for more than 1900 performances – with songs and scenes from his hit musicals Wicked, Godspell and Pippin.
