Five-time OBIE Award-winning actor/playwright David Greenspan presents I'm Looking for Helen Twelvetrees, the story of a young man’s pursuit of Helen Twelvetrees -- a real-life star of the early talkies -- during her run as Blanche DuBois at a summer stock theater in 1951.

Soft and elliptical, the narrative weaves the young man's life with that of Twelvetrees to find beauty in lives that are dwindling towards despair, and comfort in recollections of transcendent artistry. Featuring Greenspan, Brooke Bloom in the title role, and Keith Nobbs as Clark Twelvetrees, the production is directed by Mr. Greenspan's long-time collaborator, OBIE-recipient and Tony-nominee Leigh Silverman.
