Meet Tilly. She’s a bank teller, and she’s depressed.
But she’s so beautifully, alluringly depressed that everyone she meets falls in love with her, including her therapist and her tailor. But what happens when she stops being so sad?

Tony-nominated playwright Sarah Ruhl (The Clean House) teams up with prolific composer Todd Almond (New York’s Public Theater) for this world premiere musical directed by Obie Award-winner Liesl Tommy.

Lottery & Rush

Rush tickets are available starting two hours before curtain for as little as $25. Subject to availability, and must be purchased at the box office 
Pay What You Can the first Friday of every production. Tickets are cash only and go on sale at 6:30 the night of the performance, with the lobby opening at 5:30 to lineup.  Limit one per person

  • Assisted Listening System

    We have an infrared system made by Listen Technologies. The units come in two type: stethoscope (with ear pieces attached to the unit) and lanyard (worn around the neck with a set of headphones). We also have loops that can be plugged into the lanyards. The loop will transmit the audio feed to your hearing aid.

  • Parking

    The Civic Center Garage is located next door to Trinity Rep (165 Washington St.) with 450 parking spots (cash only). Additional parking is located within three blocks of the theater, including metered street parking (meters active until 9:00 pm). Parking may be limited when other events are occurring in the area.

    Theater is fully wheelchair accessible, with elevator services to the Chace Theater on the second floor.
