Playing @
Linda Gross Theater
336 West 20th Street, New York City, NY 10011
Set in colonial Africa and 1979 London, this landmark play is about power, politics, family, Queen Victoria and sex.
A timeless and bitingly funny modern classic, Cloud Nine has not been seen in a major New York production since 1981, when it ran for over two years.

Atlantic welcomes legendary British playwright Caryl Churchill (Mad Forest, Top Girls) for this revival helmed by acclaimed director James Macdonald (A Number, Cock).

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:
TUESDAY @ 7 PM
WEDNESDAY thru SATURDAY @ 8 PM
SATURDAY & SUNDAY @ 2 PM
SUNDAY @ 7 PM (selected)
Off BroadwayPlay - ComedyPlay - Drama
Show Notes: 1 Intermission
Age Guidance: 16
Audience Advisory: There is a special seating configuration for this production (view website). FOR YOUR COMFORT… Our production of Cloud Nine has been artistically conceived and designed to be performed in the round. It creates an exciting, intimate playing space that closely connects the audience with the story being told on stage. To achieve this special approach, a stadium of bleachers have been constructed at the theater that replaces our traditional seating configuration. While the bleachers are cushioned, some of our audience members have found them less comfortable than our usual theater seats. We welcome you to bring a favorite pillow or small cushion to make your seat personally comfortable for you. We also have a limited number of cushions available at the theater.
