Winner of the first prize in the Seattle International Piano Competition, Korean-born pianist Hee Sung Jang recently made her New York debut at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall.
Also a prizewinner in the Five Towns, American Protégé and Bradshaw and Buono Piano Competitions, she has performed, in recent seasons, with the New York Concert Artists Orchestra at the Good Shepherd Church and at Cornish College in Seattle. In Europe Ms. Jang has appeared in the United Kingdom, Germany (a highly successful debut at the Kuenstlerhaus in Munich) and Spain, as well as in prestigious venues in Korea.
