What better pedigree could there be in the jazz world than to be known as the protégé of the one and only Dizzy Gillespie?

It’s a claim that can be made by the singular master of the jazz trumpet and flugelhorn, Arturo Sandoval. He is one of the most dynamic and vivacious jazz artists of our time, one who also happens to be a renowned composer and classical musician, performing regularly with the world’s leading symphony orchestras. The bottom line: whether it’s straight-ahead jazz, Latin jazz, or classical, Sandoval is one of today’s most brilliant and multifaceted musicians
