The all-female Seraph Brass quintet blows away pre-conceived notions that only boys play trumpet and only girls play flute.

Drawing from a roster of America’s top female brass players that have played for Adele, Placido Domingo, Roberta Flack and Kayne West to name a few, Seraph Brass’s repertoire challenges the notion that brass players are for marching bands. Winners of the 2019 American Prize in Chamber Music, America’s leading all-female brass quintet performs in the intimate townhouse living-room space of The Kosciuszko Foundation.

Their program will feature Holberg Suite by Grieg, music from Magic Flute by Mozart, Suite Espanola by Albeniz, Polovetsian Dances from Prince Igor by Borodin, 7 Romances by Tchaikovsky, Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 by Liszt, Music from West Side Story by Bernstein
