John Epperson, better known as “The Goddess of Show Biz” Lypsinka, makes a rare cabaret appearance revealing the face and man BEHIND the maquillage in An Evening With Lypsinka’s Maid!

Epperson, a classically trained pianist, plays and sings a light-hearted set of standards and lesser-known theatre songs. He tells anecdotes about some of the famous and infamous he’s encountered along his show biz journey. He even lip-synchs! It’s a twist on a traditional supper club show, from a performer who’s had a non-traditional life and career.

Directed by Jay Rogers

Reviews

  • “As he plays the piano and sings….he comes across as a diffident soul whose sly sense of humor peeks out…He registers as a gentleman and a gentle man, and you can see how living with the high-maintenance Lypsinka might wear him out.”
