The Juggler of Our Ladies brings to the stage four generations of female performers.

The dance depicts different phases of a woman’s life: innocence, struggle, perseverance, discovery, and self-realization.

Set to original music by Daniel Bernard Roumain,
the piece combines highly technical and intensely physical movement with raw and revealing expression. The performers, ranging in age from 10 to 80, include former Martha Graham dancers Ellen Graff and Marni Wood, as well as Dexter Carlson, Caitlyn Johansen, Emily McDaniel, Stella Nakada, and Ellis Wood
