Liberty: A Monumental New Musical is a fast-paced pop-infused 80-minute musical, detailing the story of Lady Liberty’s arrival in America in a show that is appealing to families of all ages.

Based on the true events, Liberty is an entertaining theatrical experience starring Abigail Shapiro (How The Grinch Stole Christmas) as Liberty, telling the true story of a young French immigrant who arrives in New York Harbor in 1884. Coming to the United States in the middle of a national immigration debate and a terrible recession, political forces are aligning to deport her. With a strong resolve and a mighty spirit, she battles to gain acceptance and eventually becomes a lasting symbol of the young country.
