New Chamber Ballet closes its 2015/16 season with a program of five ballets by Constantine Baecher and Miro Magloire, with live music on violin and piano:
The World Premiere of Baecher's Lost & Found.
The complete version of Magloire's Ravel'd, to Maurice Ravel's 2nd violin sonata.
The revival of Silk, to music by Giuseppe Tartini: a trio with "intriguingly odd, personal accents." (Jennifer Dunning, The New York Times)
Voicelessness, a dark, atmospheric duet in which "...the two dancers perform extremely demanding and intensely intimate feats of partnering." (Philip Gardner, Oberon's Grove)
Quartet, set to piano pieces by Arnold Schönberg.
