Sounds In Space is a collaboration of dance by choreographer Marisa f. Ballaro and music by composer David Schanzer.
The evening’s blend of both live and recorded music showcases a range of short modern dance works weaving elements of emotional storytelling, rhythmic energy, and everything in between.
The dancers (Emilee Ballaro, Lacey Birch, Bridget Cronin, Elliott Keller, Ashley Peters, Carina Scicchitano, and Sasha Smith) will bring Schanzer’s music to life while shaping the space with their movement. This is the third New York City season presented by Ballaro Dance. Live music to be performed by David Schanzer
