Todd Almond - Composer/Performer- recently appeared at the Lincoln Center American Songbook, Appel Room; KANSAS CITY CHOIR BOY ("Unsurprisingly awesome, slyly punk rock" -Rolling Stone) co-starring Courtney Love.

For the past three years Todd (with director Lear deBessonet) has created, composed and starred in epic musical theater pieces for the Public Theater in Central Park’s Delacorte Theater—THE TEMPEST, THE WINTER’S TALE, and last summer's THE ODYSSEY (" a brash, funny and heart-stirring musical version of Homer’s “The Odyssey” -New York Times).  Almond wrote original music for the Roundabout Theater’s hit revival of NOISES OFF!; he has collaborated with Sarah Ruhl on MELANCHOLY PLAY, Jenny Schwartz (the Lucille Lortel nominated musical) IOWA; Marcus Gardley ON THE LEVEE: Adam Bock and others.

As a book writer, his musical GIRLFRIEND (based on the album by indie rocker Matthew Sweet) has been produced around the country.

As a music director/arranger Todd works frequently with Sherie Rene Scott, Laura Benanti, Judy Kuhn, Kelli O'Hara and Donna Murphy.

This evening will be an intimate performance with Todd at the piano singing new songs, and some unexpected covers with special guest Michael C. Hall
