A new translation of "Abu Casem's Slippers," Strindberg's version of an Arabian Nights tale "for children of all ages."

The play is the story of a miserly merchant, Abu Casem, who is cured of avarice by hardships he must endure when his shoes are exchanged with the slippers of the Vizier, enlarged with the tale with a charming love story involving three young people: Abu Casem's daughter, the Prince who loves her and the son of a merchant that Abu Casem ruins who brings them together and focuses on the happy outcome in which a miser is redeemed.

The performances of  "Abu Casem's Slippers" will be preceded by either "Pariah" or "The Stronger" as a curtain raiser

"Pariah and The Stronger" unites two of Strindberg's most compelling one-acts of suspicion and discovery. "Pariah" is a blackmail scenario between a middle-aged Swedish archaeologist and a middle-aged American traveler. "The Stronger" is a spellbinding short drama for two actresses - one of whom speaks, the other doesn't. The former concludes over the course of three-quarters of and hour that the latter is her husband's lover.
