Oren Barnoy’s new work is born out of his desire to craft his own version of a daily prayer through movement. The work exists between the initial impulse to create and the moment when meaning appears.
Exploring the archetypes of the Temptress, Seductress, and Other Woman, Naomi Elena Ramirez questions representations of desire and responsibility. Mythologically described as a woman using her sexuality to entrap men and bring about their downfall, the temptress is a one-dimensional representation of women this performance seeks to deconstruct.
