Gary Lucas performs on electric and acoustic guitar the world premiere of his new live score accompanying Orson Welles’ 1938 surrealist silent masterpiece “Too Much Johnson.”

The silent slapstick film, long thought to be lost, was produced and directed by Orson Welles in 1938 to precede his theatrical production of the 19th century farce “Too Much Johnson” by William Gillette, featuring Mercury Theater Players: Joseph Cotton, Edgar Barrier, and Arlene Francis.
