Timothy Simonson gives a solo tour de force performance as the charismatic Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., on his political journey as Harlem's first Black Congressman between 1945 and 1971.

A compelling play, Adam is set on the Caribbean island of Bimini, in the Hall of the U.S. House of Representatives, and in Harlem's famed Abyssian Baptist Church.
