It's a "totally true" story.
Before he was André the Giant, iconic wrestling personality and star of The Princess Bride, he was Dede, the 12-year-old boy who couldn't fit on the school bus.
So, André's neighbor offered to drive him to school. That neighbor was Samuel Beckett, famed writer of Waiting for Godot and the most celebrated absurdist playwright of all time.
Sam & Dede, or My Dinner with André the Giant imagines a series of scenes between a man who cannot hide and a writer obsessed with silence. Author DiIorio fashions a world as absurd as a Beckett play itself.
PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:
TUESDAY thru THURSDAY @ 7:30 PM
FRIDAY & SATURDAY @ 8:30 PM
SATURDAY @ 2:30 PM
SUNDAY @ 3:30 PM
