Pakistani cabbie gives a ride to a Connecticut banker in New York City. The result is a ride of a lifetime going far beyond its original destination for them – and audiences. The Textile Co. presents this new play about a cab ride that changes the lives of everyone in the vehicle – and many others.
The Fare tells a powerful story of how a dispute over a taxi fare leads to an altercation with echoes that involve everything from immigration to identity, class to color, privilege to prejudice and what it means to be an American.
PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:
THURSDAY thru SATURDAY @ 8 PM
SUNDAY @ 3 PM
