The play gives an insight into the lives of three young men patrolling the US border. As they wait and watch for people crossing illegally, we see how their haunted pasts have shaped their views of the world.

An examination of the sexism, racism, and xenophobia in contemporary American culture, the play is a study on the relationship between young men and violence.
