Access Theatre
380 Broadway - 4th floor, New York, NY 10013
New Dance Theatre, in a co-production with Access Theater, makes its New York debut with ASYLUM.

ASYLUM
is an original dance-theatre piece which explores the gestures of mental illness, living in a world of stigma, and how we can find the compassion we need to feel -- if not healthy -- at least human.

ASYLUM breaks from the traditional model of choreographer and dancer and features actor generated choreography exploring where the pedestrian and the profound meet, where what is unspoken is revealed through gesture and dance.

First presented at Darkroom 11
