'Shaw meets Brecht from the Bronx' - Lucy Thurber / Founder of Middle Voice @ Rattlestick

We are thrown headlong into the hectic, hierarchical world of the New York City restaurant industry as Mitch, a new inexperienced manager takes a place at the top, followed by a tight-knit group of disarmingly hopeful and determined service employees. In this political pecking order, a privileged few may succeed, while the dignified suffer disempowerment.

THE PARLOUR is an ensemble comedy about the have and haves-nots of urban existence, and the sacrifices we make for survival.
