The American Dance Guild marks its 60th year with Performance Festival 2017 "Celebrating Diversity" with performances by 30+ artists.
This year's festival honors three luminaries in dance:
Garth Fagan, the award-winning choreographer best-known for his path-breaking work in "The Lion King" now celebrating his company's 46th season--
Martha Myers, beloved educator and mentor of thousands of dancers over her 40 year tenure as Dean of the American Dance Festival and Professor Emeritus at Connecticut College--
Louis Mofsie, director and founding member of Thunderbird American Indian Dancers who mark the 39th consecutive year of preserving and sharing the culture of indigenous American peoples.
Also featured: historic solo of Bella Lewitzky danced by John Penninton, Margie Gill's solo "Bloom," Alberto Del Saz, Nai-Ni Chen Co, Molissa Fenley, Sabatino Verlezza, Lisa Giobbi, Catherine Meredith,Benvindo Fonseca (France), Bert Gstettner (Austria), Endalyn Taylor, Ara Fitzgerald, Ting-Ting Chang, LiChiao Ping, Mary Seidman, Tina Croll, Maxine Steinman, Gloria McLean, Kathy Wildberger, Nancy Zendora, Sue Bernhard, Kaoru Ikeda, Nicoll & Oreck, Jeanette Stoner, Lynn Needle/Claudia Gitelman, Marlene Skog, Lucas Melfi, Julian Nichols, Lucas Klinge.

Elevator\Escalator
The Ailey Citigroup Theater and all studios are accessible by elevator. -
Entrance
There is a ramp to access the front entrance of the building on 9th avenue. Stairs are available on the 55th street side of the building. There are two manual front doors operated by our security team and a revolving door. -
Restroom
Restrooms and water bottle-refilling stations are available on the lower level (LL), performance entry level (PE), ground floor, 5th floor and 6th floor. Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available on the ground floor and performance entry level (PE). Doors to those restrooms are wave-activated to open on both sides. -
Visual Assistance
All elevators have braille on their buttons identifying individual floors as well as a spoken voice to identify the floor when the doors open. -
