The Iconoclastic Son is a story about a father who is a pastor with political aspirations.

Blinded by his ambition, he fails to see that he is using and abusing his son by forcing him into a marriage with the governor's daughter, a woman he doesn't love.

But, when his son [Jacob] is pushed too far, he does the unthinkable.
